I-Chun does research in Environmental Engineering, Geography and Geostatistics. Their most research focus on 'The Temporal-Spatial Optimization of Allocation of Environment-Resources towards Circular City. In recent years, she uses Agent-Based Modelling (ABM) of Landscape to discuss the risk of resource use and metabolism at urban scale, such as the impacts of urban environment through human behaviors on the different land types. She extended the risk maps to analyze the relationship between land-use type and environmental loading for low carbon and smarter city. Besides, she is familiar with urban metabolism and land-use adaptation such as brownfield redevelopment.
