Bio
Associate Professor Hung is working at Le Quy Don Technical University as a senior lecturer and researcher in water treatment and membrane processes. Hung's researches focus on space-age membrane technologies for water treatment and desalination, particularly on membrane scaling and mitigation techniques, and energy consumption reduction. Hung has a strong desire to develop small-scale, robust seawater desalination system based on membrane distillation to augment fresh water supply in remote coastal areas. Hung obtained his PhD in environmental engineering at the University of Wollongong (2017), Master degree in chemical engineering at the University of Adelaide (2010), and Bachelor degree in chemical engineering at Le Quy Don Technical University (2005).
