个人简介
I have worked on education policy in both China and New Zealand since 2014. Building upon my passion for education policy, I embarked on a transformative journey during my doctoral studies from 2019 to 2023. The objective of my research was to investigate the intricate dynamics surrounding teacher professionalism within teacher unions, with a particular focus on Aotearoa New Zealand. This exploration culminated in the completion of my doctoral thesis titled "The Politics of Teacher Professionalism in Teacher Unions – A Case Study of Aotearoa New Zealand."
Through my research, I delved into the intricate interplay between politics, policy, and the collective voice of educators, aiming to shed light on the factors that shape the professional identities of teachers within the context of teacher unions. By examining the multifaceted nature of teacher professionalism, I sought to contribute to the ongoing discourse surrounding educational policies and practices, with the ultimate goal of enhancing educational outcomes for students.
