Gary is a Lecturer of Medical Image Computing in the Department of Computer Science and Centre for Medical Image Computing at UCL. He joined UCL in 2009 as a postdoctoral research associate with Prof. Daniel Alexander in the Microstructure Imaging Group, of which he remains a member. Before moving to UCL, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also undertook his PhD under the supervision of Prof. James Gee. His research focuses on diffusion MRI and its application to imaging brain tissue microstructure and mapping brain connectivity.
