Bio
My research project consists with using simulations, optical bench experiments, and data collected from x-ray and electron microscopes to give a full survey of the effects on ptychographic image quality of parameters and aim to obtain a series of results that provide a guide to the performance levels achievable under different experimental setups. In particular the optimal dose-reducing experimental strategy will be investigated and trialled, informing future projects aimed at biological imaging in the x-ray and electron regimes.
