Hsian-Min Chen received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National Chung-Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, in 2008. Dr. Chen was a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Medical Research, China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan, from 2008-2010. He was the Chairman and an associate professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Hungkuang University, Taichung, Taiwan, from 2011-2014. He was an associate research scientist at the Department of Medical Research, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan, from 2014-2022. He is currently a research scientist at the Center for QUantitative Imaging in Medicine (CQUIM), Department of Medical Research, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan. His research interests include hyperspectral medical imaging, digital image processing, biomedical image processing, and medical informatics.
