Bio

We are investigating the molecular and signaling mechanisms of protein phosphatase-1 (PP1) in synaptic plasticity and memory formation. We are currently focusing on the following regulators of PP1: neurabin, spinophilin and inhibitor-2. We are using molecular, biochemical, cell biological, imaging (including FRET/BRET), electrophysiological and behavioral techniques to study the functions of these proteins.
