个人简介
Hongyi Xiao received the Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from Beijing Normal University (BNU), Beijing, China, in 2018.
He is currently a Senior Engineer with the CMA Earth System Modeling and Prediction Centre (CEMC) and the State Key Laboratory of Severe Weather (LaSW), China Meteorological Administration, Beijing, China. His research interests include satellite microwave radiance data assimilation, remote sensing, and development of operational data assimilation systems. He developed FengYun-3 (FY-3) micro-wave radiation imager (MWRI) data assimilation and advanced microwave sounding units A (AMSU-A) surface-sensitive channels assimilation over land on basic of GRAPES_GFS. The FY-3 MWRI data assimilation system had been operationally used at CMA since 2020.
