Hongjian Lin

Hongjian Lin (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 2021. From 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting researcher with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. From 2021 to 2022, he was a postdoctoral research associate with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. His research interests include nonlinear and artificial intelligence control of dc–dc converters in microgrids, electromagnetic materials property analysis, electrical machines and drives control, wireless power transfer techniques, and modulation and control techniques of multilevel converters in the solid-state transformer. Dr. Lin is a Guest Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics.
