Hong Qin received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA, in 2001. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, USA. He has published more than 60 international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His research interests include cellular aging, COVID-19, mathematical modeling, machine learning, data science, bioinformatics, deep learning, and genomics.
