Bio
Hongman Kim is a systems engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Since he joined JPL in 2014, Hongman worked on a number of software development projects including concept design study environment and ontology-based engineering data integration. Currently, he works as software architect of Ingenium that provides a Web-based test procedure authoring and execution environment for system level testing and integration of JPL flight projects. Before joining JPL, he was a project manager at Phoenix Integration, Inc., where he led development of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) technology. He also worked on a number of government funded projects including points cloud visualization, distributed computing, and design optimization. He holds a PhD degree in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech, and MS and BS degrees in aerospace engineering from Seoul National University.
