Bio
Hong Guo (M'00) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronic engineering and Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1992, 1994, and 1997, respectively.
While at Tsinghua University, he was involved in pattern recognition (optical character recognition) and signal processing. From 1997 to 2000, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is now with Automotive Systems Lab, Inc., Farmington Hills, MI. His current research activities include signal processing (crash sensing and vehicle engine diagnostics), neural network, pattern recognition and digital image library.
