Bio
His current research interests include power management integrated circuits for automotive, LED lighting, and computing systems; soft-switched converters and control methodologies; wireless power and energy harvesting technologies; and low-power analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Prof. Lee’s research program has been supported by National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, ARPA-E, Semiconductor Research Corporation, and numerous major semiconductor IC companies.
Prof. Lee is an International Technical Program Committee Member of the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference and a Guest Editor of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits. He was the Conference Chair of the 62nd IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems in 2019 and the Technical Program Chair of the 14th IEEE Dallas Circuits and Systems Conference in 2020. He served as Associate Editors of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-I: Regular Papers (2016 – 2017) and the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-II: Express Briefs (2007 – 2009 and 2014 – 2015). He was also the Chair of the Power Management Technical Committee of the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference from 2012 to 2015. Prof. Lee received National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2011. He was also a co-recipient of the Best in Session Award twice in the 2013 and 2015 Annual SRC TECHCON conference.
