个人简介
I have over 25 years of research experience in image processing for ocular imaging devices (i.e. optical coherence tomography (OCT), ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM)) and machine learning applications in clinical ophthalmology. My research work yielded 19 intellectual properties; 9 US patents allowed, 2 US patents pending, and 8 copy rights. I am recognized as the first inventor of the detailed macular retinal layer segmentation of OCT images. Recently, I have been collaborating with IBM Watson Research Team on AI applications in glaucoma, which is my current research focus.
