Bio
I’m a research scientist working to understand better how better dispersion of biomass-derived materials can effectively control the thermal insulation property of polyurethane foams. Broadly, my research interests include polymer engineering and nanomaterials. More specifically, I am interested in the structure and properties of biobased polymers and biomass-derived materials (lignin, cellulose), composites, etc. and their characterisation methods such as thermal, rheological and microstructural studies etc. My expertise includes conceptualisation and design of the project, investigation, data analysis and interpretation, validation and development of feasible solutions to the relevant problems. My colleagues would describe me as an enthusiastic, efficient and organised individual who maintains a proactive attitude.
Currently, I’m seeking opportunities that will allow me to research novel materials to promote a biobased economy.
