个人简介
My research focusses around developing low-altitude / high-resolution sensing systems and analysis procedures for spectral, thermal and 3D data to understand how plants interact with their environment. This mainly includes unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing, but also data from stationary and non-stationary webcams. My main interest is using the high spatial, spectral and temporal resolution of the data to retrieve and model plant traits in great detail across space and time to support a more sustainable use of resources in the context of agricultural production.
Besides, I am coordinating the UAV remote sensing efforts in our group (PhenoFly team) together with Dr. Frank Liebisch. UAV remote sensing is currently used in three PhD projects of our group that I (co-) supervise.
