Dr. Rondon Berrios is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Renal-Electrolyte Division at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he also serve as the Program Director of the Nephrology Fellowship Training Program. Dr. Rondon Berrios obtained his MD degree at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency training at University of Texas Medical Branch in
Galveston, Texas followed by Nephrology Fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he also received a Master of Science degree in medical education. Dr. Rondon has authored several publications in the area of hyponatremia. He is an NIH funded clinical investigator. His research focus on the effects of oral urea on the clinical outcomes of chronic hyponatremia.
