Heather E Adams

My research interests include the interactions of temperature, nutrients, dissolved organic material, and bacterial community composition as controls on aquatic bacterial productivity. Past research locations include Mono Lake, Lake Tanganyika, the Toolik Lake watershed, lakes in the Dry Valleys of Antarctica, and lakes around Barrow, Alaska, as well as developing protocols for use nationally.
