I am a researcher at the Institute of Ecology at Tallinn University, Tallinn and guest lecturer at the same university. His Ph.D. thesis (2008) at Tallinin University was on, ‘Development of Spits on Gravel Beach Type in Changing Storminess and Sea Level Conditions’. He is the author of nearly 50 scientific publications and currently leads an Estonian Science Foundation financed project: ‘Analysis of relationships between near-shore wave parameters and sediment movement on gravel-pebble shores.’ His interests are in the ‘Effects on Estonian shorelines of global change and human pressure’ together with ‘coastal wetland ecosystems’ and he specializes mainly in gravel beaches. He is also involved in geo-radar investigations in various environments.
