个人简介
Hongxiang is a hydrologist with over six years of professional experience in water resources. His primary research goals are directed toward understanding the basis for hydrologic modeling and improving hydrologic predictions, using both the physical and statistical based methods. In his Ph.D. dissertation, a novel dynamical-statistical modeling framework has been developed using land data assimilation and multivariate statistical modeling, to improve the hydro-climatic prediction skills.
More specifically, Hongxiang's research interests include:
1) Land Data Assimilation
2) Hydrologic Modeling
3) Uncertainty Quantification and Risk Analysis
4) Extreme Value Analysis
5) Climate Change Impact and Adaptation
