Research Interests:
Drug Delivery Systems, Antimicrobial Polymers for Water Disinfection, Polymer synthesis and modification for Biomedical and Industrial application.
Our group is contributing in the research area of biomedical nanotechnology. A major focus is on the ‘Development of polymers to deliver drugs, particularly chemotherapeutic drugs/peptides/DNA, continuously at controlled rate for prolonged period of time. These interdisciplinary research activities are in collaboration with Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, USA; AIIMS, INMAS (DRDO) and NIHFW, Delhi, India.
