Bio
I am an experimental physicist with 5+ years of experience in nuclear and particle physics. In my PhD, I worked on The INdia based TIN detector (TIN.TIN) experiment which studies neutrinoless double beta decay in 124Sn isotope. I
worked on gamma ray, charged particle, neutron and cosmic muon detection, shield design, muon veto implementation and background suppression methods. I am well versed in experimental data analysis and Monte Carlo simulations. My goal is to be instrumental in designing the next generation of detection experiments and pushing the limits of analysis with the latest machine learning and statistical tools.
I am also a public outreach enthusiast. I have organized and delivered multiple lectures to students and public as a part of various outreach programs. I strongly believe that science can transform societies and I am passionate about communicating the excitement of science to the public.
