Editor in chief of the Egyptian Heart Journal. Member of Medical Education Board of RCPS Glasgow. Vice-Chairman of Egyptian Working group of Echocardiography (EEWG). Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Fellow of European Society of Cardiology (FESC), Chairman of Promotion Committee of Faculty members in Egyptian universities (Cardiovascular Medicine). Member of European Association of Echocardiography (EAE)since 2006 – Member of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging. Member of Egyptian Society of Cardiology since 2007. Past Head of Cardiology Department Menoufia University. Cardiology fellow at University of Tennessee (UT at Memphis) the USA from 1993- 1995. Reviewer in more than 15 international journals in cardiovascular medicine.
