个人简介
I am a profoundly motivated immunologist with extensive research knowledge of more than 9 years of inflammatory as well as structural changes in airways during the asthmatic condition. Currently, I am focusing on the contribution of lung resident T cells in the development of Asthma.
I am highly skilled in both in vivo and in vitro models to assess the function of immune cells, with a strong interest in the development of Immunotherapeutic for patients.
During my PhD, I have explored the contribution of Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) protein under the chronic settings of asthma using its pharmacological inhibitor; Olaparib. Therein, I have developed an improved model of chronic asthma which reflect the symptoms of the disease more closely; both persistence of airway inflammation as well as steroid-resistant remodelling features.
