Guo-Chung Dong

Guo-Chung Dong was born in Changhua, Taiwan, in 1971. He received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Yuan Ze University, Zhongli, Taiwan, in 1995, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Chung Yuan Christian University, Zhongli, in 1997 and 2002, respectively. From 2002 to 2007, he was a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow with Academia Sinica Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, Taipei, Taiwan, where he studied the drug screening development. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Project Assistant Professor with the Department of Chemistry, National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan. Since 2009, he has been with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine, National Health Research Institutes, Zhunan, Taiwan, where he is currently an Associate Investigator. He specializes in developing protein and biomaterial, which has been applied on tissue engineering and drug discovery.
