Greg Adamson

Greg Adamson (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia, in 1998, the Graduate Diploma degree in information management from the University of Canberra in 1999, the Ph.D. degree in Internet studies from RMIT University, Melbourne, in 2004, and the Master of Commercial Law degree from Melbourne Law School, in 2020. He has worked in cyber security, IT operations, service management, operational risk management, and consulting with Medibank, Telstra, ANZ Bank, the State Government of Victoria, and the University of Melbourne, Australia, and Fujitsu, U.K. His research is primarily in the field of technology and society, including professional ethics. Dr. Adamson is an Honorary Associate Professor with the University of Melbourne, the Technical Activities Vice-President of the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology, a Fellow of Engineers Australia and the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, a Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery, the Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the Director of the Australasian Cyber Law Institute and Internet Australia.
