Bio
Grant M. Brodnik received the B.S. degree in optical engineering from
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, IN, USA, and the M.S. dual-degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology and Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea, in 2014 and 2016,
respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Santa
Barbara, CA, USA in electrical and computer engineering with a focus on electronics and photonics, as part of the
Optical Communications and Photonic Integration group. While at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, He received the
Grant for conducting research that involves high-power diode laser characterization and performance metrics.
