Bio
Goran R. Petrović was born in Novi Pazar, SFR Yugoslavia, in 1990. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in control engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, in 2014. From March 2015 to March 2021, he was a Teaching Assistant at the Control Group, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Since April 2021, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Unit of Automation Technology and Mechanical Engineering, Tampere University, under the supervision of Prof. Jouni Mattila. His research interests include mobile manipulators, electro-hydraulic actuation, and nonlinear model-based control algorithms. He graduated as the best in his class and was a recipient of the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sports Scholarship—Dositeja, awarded to the 1000 best students in the Republic of Serbia.
