个人简介
Goran Đuričić was born in Belgrade on 9 July 1975. He enrolled in the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine in 1994, and graduated from it in 2001.
He started his specialization in radiology at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed it with summa cum laude in 2009.
He defended his master thesis titled ‘Incidence and characteristics of radiological indications of bone changes resulting from physical violence against children’ at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine in 2010.
The author has been employed at the Diagnostics Department of Radiology, University Children’s Hospital in Belgrade since 2003.
The areas of special interest of the author include paediatric radiology, musculoskeletal system radiology, radiological diagnostics of sports injuries, and computer analysis of medical images.
He underwent advanced training in those areas attending: the Paediatric Radiology Seminar, Salzburg, in 2011, the Summer School on Image Processing (the SSIP) in 2012, the Medical Image Analysis, Visualization and Retrieval - at the Technical University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, in 2012, and the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (the CEEPUS) the Division of Paediatric Radiology and Research Unit of Digital Information and Imaging Processing, the Department of Radiology, the Medical University of Graz, Austria, in 2013.
The author has been an active member of the Serbian Medical Society since 2001; of the Radiological Section of the Serbian Medical Society since 2010; of the ESR (the European Society of Radiology) since 2011; of the ESPR (the European Society of Paediatric Radiology) since 2012; he has been a member and local coordinator of the CEEPUS (the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) since 2012. He has been involved as an active member of the Telecommunications Committee within the WFPI (the World Federation of Paediatric Imaging) since 2012. He has also taken an active participation in the ESSR (the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology) since 2017.
He defended his PhD thesis titled “Importance of multifractal analysis of magnetic resonanace imaging in assessment of responses of chemotherapy in primary bone neoplasms” at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine in 2018.
Goran Đuričić has done his so far scientific and research work as the author of 16 published papers, as the lecturer at the European School of Paediatric Radiology, the lecturer at the School of Musculoskeletal Radiology, the lecturer on call at national congresses of radiology and children’s surgery, as well as an active participant at the EMSOS (the European Musculoskeletal Oncology Society) Congress.
