Bio
Sergio González Martínez received the official Engineer degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2015 from University of Zaragoza (Universidad de Zaragoza - UniZar), a Master in Biomedical Engineering in 2016 and a biomedical engineering PhD both from Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - UPM), both universities are in Spain. During his undergraduate studies, in 2013, he enrolled in an exchange program at the University of Rhode Island, in United States of America.
He has developed some projects based on Android platform, like his final degree project aimed at providing some tools to students to learn how to develop databases, and projects related to medical e-learning applications.
He is currently a researcher at Life Supporting Technologies Group (LST) in UPM, Spain, where he is developing and Android and iOS applications for two different projects. One, Nevermind, with the aim of improving clinical knowledge and self-management of psychopathological depressive symptoms as comorbidity in patients with severe primary, and another one, Pulse, with the aims to collect information from the public health systems, remote and fixed environmental sensors, and citizens mobile devices, to develop a public health observatory and related policies and new procedures based on real evidence. The main clinical focuses are Asthma and Type 2 Diabetes in adult population.
