Giuseppe Di Gironimo

Giuseppe Di Gironimo is currently a professor of virtual prototyping and the head of the Virtual Reality (MARTE), Motion Analysis (ERGOS) and IDEAinVR Labs, University of Naples Federico II. His research interests include virtual and augmented reality, ergonomics and human-centered design, biomechanics and human motion analysis, soft robotics, and human-robot interaction. He is the head of Mechanical Design Unit, a member of the Scientific Board of the CREATE Consortium, and the founder and president of BeyondShape, a spinoff company of the University of Naples active in the design and development of 3D Medical Scanning Systems.
