Giuseppe Colucci

Giuseppe Colucci received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in physics from the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy, in 2008 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he was a Software Engineer with UL TS, Leiden, The Netherlands, and then as a Quantitative Analyst with Rabobank, Utrecht, The Netherlands, from 2016 to 2018. He currently invests the role of Senior ALM Specialist with de Volksbank, Utrecht, The Netherlands. He is also the Founder of Quantum Quants, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, established in 2020, which helps companies to get insights on quantum computing and develop business applications of quantum computing. He published several articles in theoretical nuclear physics and quantum computing. His research interest includes applications of quantum computing to business use cases, with a focus on optimization in the financial and energy sectors.
