Career Trajectory
Bio
I am working at the Institute of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering of Bordeaux on computational aspects of damage and fracture mechanisms in fast dynamic. I carry out theoretical and applied researches using several numerical methods but mainly the discrete element one (also few experiments !). Applications that I study can be found either in the high velocity impact on compositess, dynamic crack propagation in polymer, quasi-brittle material, and so on...I am also interested on studying how new materials like architectured or cellular ones can absorbed kinetic energies. I teach at Arts et Metiers Institute of Technology (numerical methods & programming development)
