Gilles Thouenon

Gilles Thouenon (gilles.thouenon@orange.com) received his M. Sc. degree in electronics and telecommunication systems from the University of Brittany, France. He joined Orange Labs as a research engineer, where he has worked on transport network technologies for 16 years. His current research activity is focused on multi-layer transport network architecture optimization issues with the integration of new emerging networking concepts with optical flexibility. He has been involved in several French and European collaborative projects, and participated in a number of publications in journals on optical networking technologies.
