Research Interests
We aim to identify new molecules and pathways that play a role in the brain control of energy homeostasis, and thus reveal new potential therapeutic targets to tackle obesity.
The approaches we have taken include:
Mapping the human hypothalamic functional architecture underlying appetitive control using both single nucleus RNA sequencing (NucSeq) and single molecule fluorescent in situ hybridization (smFISH).
