个人简介
He authored about a hundred papers in international journals; he has been an invited speaker at several conferences and international schools, and has delivered seminars at foreign universities and research centers. Prof. Ercolani’ s scientific activity is in the field of physical organic chemistry and mostly regards the development and/or application of quantitative (kinetic, thermodynamic, computational) models and methods aimed at clarifying structure-reactivity relationships both in problems of organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. His actual work is focused on self-assembly, mechanisms of cooperativity, asymmetric catalysis, amplification of chirality, and, in collaboration with Prof. M. L. Di Vona, synthesis of novel polymers for fuel cells.
