Bio
Gertjan Coudyzer (Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium, in 2014. He then joined the IDLab Design group, Ghent University, where he is working toward a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. His research is focused in the field of next-generation optical access networks, with primary focus on upstream transmission in PON-networks. For this application, he has developed several integrated receiver architectures, operating both in continuous- and burst-mode. In addition, he is working toward burst-mode equalization, including modeling and implementation.
