Bio
Dr B M Razzak is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Executive Business Centre of Business School, University of Greenwich, UK. In his previous academic roles, Razzak was involved in delivering modules for PhD, DBA and MPhil programmes in the Department of Organization Strategy and Leadership, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Razzak also taught at London Metropolitan University, University of Bolton and University of Northampton in the UK. Prior to his UK academic career, Razzak held academic positions at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology and Northern University Bangladesh. Overall, he has more than 17 years of teaching experience at Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels in the UK and abroad. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.
Razzak obtained his PhD in Human Resource Management in 2017 and MSc in Management in 2014 from Kingston University both were funded by Kingston University Business School. Prior to that, he earned MA in Management from the University of Greenwich in 2009, following his BBA (Hons) in Management and MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Razzak is a small and medium enterprises researcher of Bangladeshi origin SMEs in the UK. His research interest is:
a) employees working life
b) SMEs
c) job satisfaction
d) employees training and development
e) talent management and
f) HRM in contemporary organizations.
Razzak has published seven articles in national and international journals. Recently, one of his empirical papers was published by ABS ranked journal Benchmarking: An International Journal (REF 1* Standard). The research title ‘Employees’ Working Life and Performance of UK Ethnic Minority Restaurants: A Qualitative Approach.
He presented a number of papers at several national and international research conferences over the past few years including the RENT Conference in Italy in November 2022; the ISBE Conference 2021 in Cardiff and the International Conference INBAM at Kingston University in 2018.
