Bio
Geoffrey A. Slipher currently serves as the Chief of the Autonomous Systems Division in the Vehicle Technology Directorate, Army Research Laboratory (ARL). In that position, he leads a dynamic team of researchers focused on revolutionizing aerial and ground robotics and accelerating the pace of discovery and innovation in service to U.S. Soldiers. He has held various prior positions with ARL including Branch Chief. He has over 30 publications in open literature, seven invention disclosures, and is a Fellow of NextFlex. His individual research interests and contributions relate to soft robotics, wearable technology, and stretchable electronics.
