个人简介
Gabrielle is graduated in Food Engineering (2013) and has a Master (2016) and a Ph.D. (2020) in Food Engineering and Science by the Federal University of Rio Grande. She also has a specialization in Food Science - Fruit and Vegetable Technology by the Federal University of Pelotas. During her doctorate, she spent a period of 2-months exchange in the Centre of Biological Engineering at the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal). She has expertise in the areas of Microbiology and Food Bioprocess, acting mainly in the following themes: applied microbiology; bioprocess engineering and fermentation technology; enzyme production by bacteria and yeasts; protein purification by different strategies; enzyme application for fungal decontamination; enzymatic hydrolysis for oligosaccharides production; pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass; agricultural waste valorization; characterization of lignocellulosic substrates; enzyme characterization; response surface methodology for bioprocess optimization; prebiotics; antioxidant and antimicrobial activities analysis.
