个人简介
Grace V. Cumming received the Hons. degree from the University of
Tasmania, Hobart, TAS, Australia, in 2004, in geology, focusing on the volcanic architecture of the Chatree epithermal
gold deposit in Central Thailand.
Since then, she has worked for various exploration companies around the world. She has also worked previously as a
Research Assistant with the Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence in Ore Deposits. She is currently a geologist
with the Geological Survey branch at Mineral Resources Tasmania, a division of the Department of State Growth, Hobart,
TAS, Australia, and she is compiling several 1:25,000 geological maps of North West Tasmania. She is involved in the
examination and correlation of various rock units, and relates geochemical and structure data together with petrologic
observations to previously mapped regions. Currently, she is characterizing the deformation history of the Arthur
Metamorphic Complex and is exploring the geochemical nature of Early Cambrian ultramafic suites located in dismembered
ophiolites. Additionally, she is also working on describing and refining the stratigraphy and sedimentology of the
Meso-Proterozoic Rocky Cape Group in North West Tasmania.
