个人简介
Giovanni Legnani received the Laurea degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in applied mechanics from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 1982 and 1987, respectively.
Currently, he is a Full Professor of Applied Mechanics, University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy. He also teaches the mechanics of robots. His research interests include three-dimensional (3-D) kinematics, dynamics and simulation, industrial robot control and trajectory planning, dynamics modelization, and identification of robots, mechanical systems, and electrical actuators. He is also interested in biomechanics analysis and simulation of human motion.
Dr. Legnani is a member of the Executive Board of the Technical Group in Computer Simulation in Biomechanics of the Intentional Society of Biomechanics, an Italian member of the Man–Machine Commission of the Intentional Federation of the Theory of Mechanics and Machines, and a member of the Board of the Italian Association of Robotics, associated with the International Federation of Robotics.
