个人简介
Dr Garzón has a bachelors degree in Food Engineering, a master’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition from California State University, Fresno and a PhD in Food Science and Technology from Oregon State University. She has extensive real world food chemistry, food analysis, food product development, nutritional product research and food processing experience through positions in industrial, academic, and government laboratories. Practical and theoretical focus of food chemistry, real world problem-solving research, experience in research planning, experimental design, and statistical analysis of results.
At present, she works as an Associate Professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where she teaches Food Chemistry and has a research group that focuses on chemistry of natural pigments and phenolic compounds.
