Dr. Tsui is an engineer, computer scientist, and biomedical informatician. His research focuses on three areas: 1) Developing methods using AI, machine learning, natural language processing, data science, data engineering, and signal processing for healthcare needs; 2) Implementing, deploying, and analyzing real-time production systems and data warehouse; 3) Supporting biomedical informatics education. The Tsui Lab(link is external) develops and deploys healthcare AI systems aiming to improve patient care and address the needs of clinicians.
