个人简介
Hi! I'm Fu-Lai, a theoretical physicist fascinated by self-organized phenomena observed in non-equilibrium systems. In particular, I am interested in how large-scale collective patterns could emerge from small-scale interactions between individuals. Many examples, such as collective migration of cell groups and tissue shape development, vividly manifest such beautiful biological patterns. During my research career, I have been adopted versatile methods, including mathematical modeling, computer simulations and quantitative image analysis, to investigate the formation mechanisms of bio-patterns at multiple spatio-temporal scales.
