Frederico Duarte de Menezes

Frederico D. Menezes received the bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the Federal University of Pernambuco in 2004, the master’s degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil, in 2006, the bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Pernambuco in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil, in 2011. Has experience in chemistry, focusing on colloidal chemistry and materials, acting on the topics such as synthesis of semiconductor nanoparticles (quantum dots) (CdTe, ZnSe, and ZnS), synthesis of graphene and graphene oxide, nanofluids, and nanocomposites. He has also been developing some work in intelligent computer systems for application in gas sensing.
