F. K. Fuss received the M.D. and Ph.D. (habilitation) degrees from Vienna University, Vienna, Austria, in 1987 and 1992, respectively, and the Dip.Biomech. degree from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., in 1993. He was Associate Professor at the Medical Faculty of Vienna University from 1992 to 2001. Since 2001, he is Associate Professor with the School of Mechanical and Production Engineering, Nangang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and since 2003, Deputy Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Centre at NTU. His research focuses on biomechanics (clinical, experimental, and sports), and 3-D kinematics of joints, gait analysis, and development and testing of orthopaedic implants. He is a receiving editor of the Journal of Anatomy.
