Bio
Her research interest is in 3D biomedical imaging particularly in X-ray tomography, tomographic image reconstruction, image analysis and wavelet based methods. She has strongly been involved in the development of synchrotron tomographic imaging for biomedical applications. She is particularly developing reconstruction methods for emerging tomographic modalities, and image analysis techniques for the characterization of bone tissue at the micro and nano scales. She is the author of more than 180 peer reviewed papers, 21 books chapters and more than 350 conference papers (h-index:40).
