Bio
• More than 30 years of research in the field of photovoltaics, semiconductor physics, optical spectroscopy, materials science, and vacuum systems.
• Broad experience in the theory, preparation and characterization of amorphous semiconductors and devices, in particular, thin film amorphous silicon and carbon and emerging nano-crystalline materials, as well as applications of smart materials as sensors.
• Developed a research program in Forensic Physics aimed at undergraduate students for the application of physics principles to forensic investigations involving blood pattern analysis and ballistics.
