Bio
Considering the overall scientific production, my activities are within the general field of global change. My expertise is in Atmospheric Aerosols and Cloud Physics. My researches are focused on the measurement of 'climate-relevant aerosol properties', through the long-term monitoring of atmospheric aerosols.
My academic background is Experimental Physics, and my PhD focused on 'aerosol-cloud interactions', and the measure of 'heterogeneous ice nucleation'. Which means the studying of the formation of ice crystal embryos in the presence of Ice Nuclei Particles (INP) at conditions representative of cold and mixed phase clouds.
I was awarded by the Italo-French University as a recognition for my outstanding PhD theses, completed in the context of the Vinci program, and awarded by Roland Schlich travel support to divulgate the results at EGU2018.
I have characterized aerosols physical and biogeochemical properties across different locations such as: the Arctic (Ny-Ålesund station); the Mediterranean Sea (PEACETIME oceanographic cruise); the Mountain Observatory Cimone in Italy; the Puy-de-Dôme Observatory in France; the NOTO Ground-based Research Observatory (NOTOGRO) in Japan. Currently I am in Antarctica, for the 18DC winterover, at Concordia station.
I am a young researcher with already a wide network of scientific collaborations worldwide. My increasing experiences and therefore responsibilities are the strong evidences of my great problem solving and team working abilities, that have turned me into a skillful scientist, able to conduct multidisciplinary projects.
